Mediation Services

Mediation
Mediation is a process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) works with the parties to negotiate a mutually agreeable resolution of their differences in order to reach a settlement of their case. Mediation allows the parties to use creativity to craft a settlement without the time and expense involved in going to trial and having a judge decide all the issues in the case for them. In Florida, participation in mediation is routinely required by the courts before contested issues may be presented to a judge for resolution. Parties may participate in mediation with, or without, the assistance of attorneys.
